Please help us find a cure.

I have personal experience with the following organizations and believe them to be responsible and responsive to the needs of breast cancer survivors. As always, thank you for your support.

The Breast Cancer Resource Center of Austin (BCRC)
TThis non-profit organization, created by breast cancer survivors, serves women with breast cancer as well as their family and friends. It exists to enable women to be active, knowledgeable participants in their healthcare. BCRC also functions as a clearinghouse for information on resources in the Austin area that provide services for breast cancer detection, education, treatment and support. Donations can be made in memory or in honor of someone. The BCRC will send a special acknowledgement to them or their family in recognition of your gift. Please visit www.bcrc.org.

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
For more than 20 years, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation has been a global leader in the fight against breast cancer through its support of innovative research and community-based outreach programs. Working through a network of U.S. and international affiliates and events like the Komen Race for the Cure®, the Komen Foundation is fighting to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by funding research grants and supporting education, screening and treatment projects in communities around the world. The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center
The mission of this well-known and respected organization is to eliminate cancer in Texas, the nation and the world through outstanding programs that integrate patient care, research and prevention and through education for undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, professionals, employees and the public. Move Through Cancer
This unique organization makes a much-needed contribution. Their mission is to improve cancer survivorship by understanding and promoting physical activity before, during and after treatment. As their website explains, they "provide participants with the skills, knowledge and opportunities to make physical activity an ongoing and important part of their lives after cancer."
